We stayed at a hotel near a black sand beach in a remote area of west Bali. the location allowed us to be close to the sea and we enjoyed walking down to the beach. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was basic. the staff was helpful, and breakfast was nice.
The hotel could use some updates to make it more inviting.

Spent a lovely Christmas at this hotel. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was breathtaking, with a stunning sunset every evening. Plus, the location was perfect as it was close to the beach and a few local restaurants.
The hotel lacked some basic amenities, with no functioning Wi-Fi and limited restaurant options. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, and the bathroom had not been properly maintained.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel located near the beach and the National Park. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the nice swimming pool with a great ocean view. In addition, the staff were very friendly and attentive, providing me with fresh fish for dinner procured at a late hour in the rain from a local fisherman. The cleanliness was remarkable, and the hotel also offered transportation and parking. The location in such a remote area was just perfect for nature lovers like me.
Almost perfect.

Over Easter, we stayed at a lovely resort in western Bali. the hotel has a fabulous swimming pool that overlooks sensational views of the ocean. the staff went out of their way to assist us when we experienced difficulties.
The hotel was a bit rundown and requires maintenance; the bathroom design was terrible as the water never drained thoroughly, leaving the ground wet.
